Fees and how to pay?

All fees quoted are plus VAT and disbursements.

These prices are provided as a guide; we are happy to provide a more accurate quotation on request.

Our fees

Our prices vary depending on the nature and complexity of the work required.

A Notary Public is a highly trained and specialised lawyer dealing with international legal matters. Your documents are dealt with discreetly by our notaries, and where required documents for legalisation are hand delivered and collected by our in-house clerks. Our prices therefore reflect this, whilst also aiming to be as competitive and affordable as we can.

Tell us what you require, and we will provide you with a tailored quote specific to your needs.

Our fees for services provided to clients within the European Union are subject to VAT. Our VAT registration number is 946522901.

If you are based outside of the European Union, VAT will not be charged.

- HM Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO)

If you require an Apostille, you will need to pay a legalisation fee set by HM Foreign Commonwealth Office. The fee you pay will depend on which level of service you require.

If you opt for the premium same day service, the fee will be £75 per Apostille. Alternatively on the standard service, the fee is £30 per Apostille.

Where possible we will do our best to bundle your documents under as few notarial certificates as possible, meaning fewer Apostilles are needed, and costs are reduced.

- Consulate fees

If your document requires legalisation at a Consulate, there will be an additional fee to pay.

Prices vary depending on the required country and type of document. Certain Arab countries may also require additional authentication at the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Arab-British Chamber of Commerce which will attract extra fees.

Please visit our legalisation page to see if Consular legalisation is required, and call us for a more detailed guide as to prices.

- Companies House

Most documents obtained from Companies House can be obtained for free. If however you require a Certificate of Good Standing, or a similar Certificate, you will need to pay a fee.

Companies House currently charge £60 for a Certificate on their same day service, and £20 per certificate on their ordinary service.

- Translation fees

If you require a document translated, you will be charged on a per word basis. Once we have considered the document we will provide you with an accurate quote.

Additional costs may be incurred if the document is required on an expedited basis.

- Courier/Postage fees

We can post your documents back to you free of charge by First Class Post. If you would prefer them sent by Recorded Delivery/Special Delivery there would be a charge of £8.

If you are based abroad, we can courier your documents back to you. Prices typically range between £30-35 for delivery on a standard service. For faster services, higher fees may apply.

All major debit and credit cards accepted except for American Express. Payment may also be made by bank transfer or cash.

Payment must be made on completion of the instruction, or within seven days of receiving our invoice.

A receipted invoice can be provided on request.

Legalisation charges are in addition and depend on whether standard or express service is required - see company documents or enquire.
