April 2010: Off Duty Notary and the London Marathon
The winning line is just a few steps from Notary Co UK’s Westminster office. We parked the car in the street between Grosvenor Garden House and the Goring Hotel and walked to The Mall ahead of the winners. Mayor Boris Johnson presented trophies to the winners.

May 2010: Off Duty Notary and The Legal Walk On May 17th the Notary Co UK team joined the 4,500 lawyers and associates who walked in the 2010 London Legal sponsored walk. The walk raised over £400,000 for legal advice charities in London and the South East. more

June 2010: Off Duty Notary spies elephants in Trafalgar Square Recent visitors to London could hardly fail to notice the herds of brightly coloured elephants strategically placed across the capital. London’s Trafalgar Square was host to a few. Sadly the elephants have now been rounded up and sold off raising large sums of money for the charity they were promoting London’s most famous public square is a magnet for tourists; it’s also a fun place for Londoners. July 2010: Off Duty Notary goes to The Mansion House Mansion House is a rare surviving Georgian town palace in London. Built in the age of Hogarth, the Mansion House, then as now, is a symbol of the City of London as the world’s leading international financial and trading centre. In July 2010 it was the location for the Gresham College lecture “The City: Past Historic / Future Perfect” delivered by The Lord Mayor of London. August 2010: August 2010: Off Duty Notary plays the cornet in Switzerland Notary Basil Preuveneers is a cornet-playing member of the Crystal Palace Band. Each August bank holiday weekend the band has a ‘bus mans holiday’. This year’s trip took them to Lenzberg close to Zurich in Switzerland. Three concerts were played; one in a Big Top where they shared the stage with the local brass band – every town has one! The 45-strong group including supports, visited the castle, sampled the local wine and had a very enjoyable stay. To join or hire Crystal Palace Band
