We welcome applications from candidates throughout the year, whether for paid positions or work experience. At present, we are particularly interested in candidates for the roles listed below:

Notarial Clerk (Paralegal)

We have an opening for a paralegal position starting on 1 October 2020.

The full time role would suit a new graduate, or individual who has completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and/or Legal Practice Course and wishes to pursue a career in the notarial profession.

Duties include:

  • Responding to client enquiries, assessing their requirements, and providing advice and quotes;
  • Attending to clients at appointments, assisting with preparing, drafting, scanning and binding of documents;
  • Requesting, collating and filing ID, KYC and due diligence documents;
  • Preparing documents for submission at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and consulates;
  • Preparing invoices and assisting with credit control;
  • Assisting with social media and content creation for various platforms;
  • Updating the notarial register and other general administration tasks that may be required.

Training will be provided where necessary.

Applicants meeting the following criteria will be considered:

  • Graduate with minimum 2:1;
  • Administrative/Paralegal experience preferred but not essential;
  • Excellent written and spoken English;
  • Strong customer service and communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task;
  • Excellent attention to detail, drafting and administrative skills.

Notary Public

We are looking for an England and Wales qualified notary to join us either full time or part time. The position will be based at our offices in London.

  • Qualified Notary Public in England and Wales;
  • Able to work full time or part time;
  • Excellent team working skills;
  • Strong attention to detail, drafting and administrative skills;
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines;
  • Confident in communicating with clients;
  • Ability to travel to see clients within London and the south east;

Trainee Notary Public

If you are a high-caliber law graduate we’d love to hear from you. We are always looking for trainee notaries to join our growing team. The position is conditional on being accepted on to the Notarial Practice Course at University College London.

Applicants meeting the following criteria will be considered:

  • Completed a UK law degree or Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) with a minimum of a 2:1 or commendation;
  • Completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) with a minimum of a commendation;
  • Able to work full time or part time;
  • Fluent in English and preferably a second language;
  • Excellent team working skills;
  • Strong attention to detail, drafting and administrative skills;
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines;
  • Confident in communicating with clients;
  • Ability to travel to see clients within London and the south east.
